The Same But Different
Trifle Studio approaches our commissions and projects with the same professionalism and passion as any other creative studio or design agency.
Throughout the commissioning and design process, clients work closely with Tom Dorkin, Trifle Studio’s Manager. This relationship ensures that we manage the client’s needs from inception to delivery. Tom works in the design studio alongside our creative team to collaboratively shape projects and ensure that our designers make the strongest impact on every job we undertake.
Leadership and Parity
Our illustrators and designers are leaders in their fields. At Trifle Studio we not only value each other’s creative talents but also the insights, ideas, opinions and wealth of lived experience that each member of our design teams brings to every project. As such, we recognize the unique value we bring to our clients. Operating as a supportive and progressive studio we advocate for being compensated and treated fairly throughout the creative process.
Social Impact
Our studio operates on a not-for-profit basis. We champion and advocate for equity in the work we undertake creating opportunities for artists and designers with learning disabilities from diverse backgrounds to make a lasting impact in the creative industries. We want our designers and their work to be visible and to challenge perceptions about who is behind the design work that shapes our daily lives.
Person Centred
We value people first and foremost in their creative practice. This reflects our commitment to equity and the ‘human rights and social models of disability’ which identifies that people are disabled by barriers, attitudes and structures in society and have the same rights as everyone else. Our role at Trifle Studio is to break down and remove these barriers. We have created a studio environment where inclusivity and accessibility are integral to our operations. Designers bring their unique perspectives to the forefront of our creative projects.
Any Questions?
Because we are unique, we understand that you probably have some questions, some that you may want to ask. We want to build lasting relationships with our clients and assure you that there are no ‘wrong questions’ so don’t hesitate to ask and learn more about our studio.
