Textile Designs

Bespoke screen printed textiles were designed, produced and applied to garments for the ‘EYE EYE’ exhibition at Colours May Vary, Leeds. Drawing upon the designer's Ghanaian heritage, the vibrant print compositions reference African Batik textiles incorporating hand drawn motifs as a repeat and placement print. The resulting linen textiles have been exhibited and worn as unique garments as part of the ongoing practice by Mawuena Kattah that brings people and pattern together.
