Room for Doubt

Andre Williams

Room For Doubt is a full scale interior envisaged and executed by Andre Williams. His room places richly illustrated furniture, wry humoured typography and hand-crafted objects into one dazzling space.

During the project, Andre created designs for a wide range of interior outcomes. These included a pair of bespoke wallpapers featuring exotic birds, cabinets which overflow with irregular hand painted patterns and a striking hand tufted rug referencing arcade video games of the 1980’s.

Masks and mirrors are a recurring motifs within the rooms’ smaller ornamentations, from the screen printed cushions that furnish the lounge chair to the ornately framed mirror and wooden masks that are precision laser cut to Andre’s design.
