Sandwell CAMHS

Andre Williams was invited by the team at Hospital Rooms to transform ‘The Whirling Room’ at Sandwell CAMHS, which is used by young people for music and play therapy.

Andre was asked to create artwork inspired by the objects used in this space, including musical instruments and sensory toys. He combined his drawings with layers of handmade textures and shapes to form his design. The repeat patterns were digitally printed for the curtains and instrument cupboards, while his original drawings have been scaled up to create a large, hand-painted wall mural.
